Heliodorus, A Greek Ambassador, Who Visited The Court Of Shunga Raja Bhagabhadra 3200 Years Ago Worshipping Bhagwan Vishnu

A sketch of Heliodorus (Greek Ambassador, who visited the court of Shunga Raja Bhagabhadra 3200 years ago) worshipping Bhagwan Vishnu by Hitharth S Bhatt.

The philosophy of the ancient Indian scriptures mesmerized Heliodorus so much that he soon became a devotee of Vishnu. He was one of the earliest recorded Westerners to follow Vaishnavism. Heliodorus built a Vishnu temple and Vishnu Stambh in Vidisha, MP. The temple does not exist now; the foundation base is visible. The Vishnu Stambh, also called Heliodorus Pillar, stands tall with little damage. Inscriptions in Brahmi script in Sanskrit and Prakrit language inscribed in the Vishnu Stambh tell us about the historicity of the region in that era.

Raja Bhagabhadra ruled around 1365 BCE (This timeline is as per the book 'Chronology of Ancient India' authored by Shri Vedveer Arya Ji. But according to distorted datings, found in various sources stamped as correct by the West, Bhagabhadra ruled around 110 BCE. There is a huge difference of over 1200 years! Recently, sophisticated copper weapons our warrior ancestors used 4000 years ago were discovered in Uttar Pradesh. And world historians including many of our own say Vedic era, i.e our Bharatiya civilization, started 3500 years ago! Indian chronology is highly distorted. This needs to be changed at the earliest). Going by this timeline, Heliodorus built the Vishnu temple and Vishnu Stambh 3200 ago (not 2100 years as per the distorted narrative).
