Initially we started to
understand this MSA selectively, if i remember we started this exercise in 2002
when MSA 3rd edition was released.
Later we developed some excel
sheets & started conducting MSA studies with some limited knowledge.
As MSA is not widely practiced, it was becoming tough to do much research into
this.
So it took years to understand the MSA.
Tried to bring the key details into a nutshell, just in one slide. This may be
useful for those, who wants to have a better idea on this.
Beginners can use this to have
an overall idea prior to drill deep. Experts can use this as a ready reckoner.
We have some nutshells on complicated subjects (like APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA,
DOE) which we will keep on sharing in future posts.
